I Bet You Had No Idea These "Big Little Lies" Things Were Different In The Book

I found the characters to be surface level only, and some pretty serious subject matter to be treated with much less sensitivity than it deserved.

They all have children entering Kindergarten in the same year. It's not just about trying to figure out who murdered who.. Looking forward to the HBO series! Maybe it was for every rape, every brutal backhanded slap, every other Perry that had come before this one.
